Our Hair Care Treatments
Your hair consultation at Ministry of Skin is a dedicated clinical appointment — not a quick scalp scan followed by a product recommendation. Your dermatologist will take a detailed history of your hair loss: when it started, the pattern of loss, any triggering events such as illness, stress, nutritional changes, or hormonal shifts, your family history, and any treatments you have already tried. Trichoscopy with the Illuco dermoscope will be used to examine the scalp and follicular unit density at high magnification — revealing the pattern of miniaturisation, follicular health, and scalp condition with a precision the naked eye cannot achieve.
Ministry of Skin's dermatologists are experienced in diagnosing and managing the full range of hair and scalp conditions. These include androgenetic alopecia — male and female pattern hair loss, the most common cause of progressive thinning — alopecia areata and alopecia totalis, telogen effluvium from acute and chronic triggers, traction alopecia from hairstyling practices, frontal fibrosing alopecia and lichen planopilaris, seborrhoeic dermatitis and scalp psoriasis, dandruff and scalp inflammation, hair shaft disorders, postpartum hair loss, and hair loss secondary to nutritional deficiencies or systemic illness. For each condition, the treatment approach is specific — because a single protocol applied across all types of hair loss is not medicine. It is guesswork.
